AGB Copper Chelate

Description

Copper is necessary for photosynthesis, for the functioning of several enzymes, in flower and seed formation, for the production of lignin which gives physical strength to shoots and stems, and to vascular elements required for water movement in plants. Although the effects of copper deficiency are varied, depending on the particular crop, some symptoms are common to many species. The youngest leaves are usually the worst affected, showing chlorosis, necrosis or distortion or a combination of these symptoms. Plant tops lack rigidity and may appear wilted while individual leaves roll, bend, or develop crinkling. Terminal dieback in the young shoots and sterile seed heads can dramatically reduce the yield of crops such as wheat and oats, while poor seed set will endanger the regeneration of annual pasture legumes such as subterranean clover.

Agtrace's AGB Copper Chelate nutrient mix is chelated using an organic molecule of lignosulphonate, meaning it has a high plant availability, is quickly absorbed by leaves and is rain fast.

General Application Rates
